Level 1 Training

Our new hires go through an extensive one week program where they learn the basics of construction and the NS Giles Safety Culture. Hands on training provides opportunity for failure in a safe and learned environment. Once new hires are sent to the field, they enter a shadow program, learning from seasoned leaders and sharpening their skills.

Safety Director: Kyle O'Connell

Kyle is a 12 year veteran in the construction industry and 10 year veteran of the Air National Guard. Kyle focuses on communication, feedback and best practices based on new technology and the expertise from the crews in the field. Kyle lives in Brewer with his wife, two children and dog.
